Our Load Board can be used by both brokers and carriers. Just open the tab you need:
β
Request Quote tab is used to see the possible options for the loads you don't have yet or to find the coverage for your existing shipment.
Request RFQ
All of the posted RFQs will be displayed on Request For Quote sub-tab. But as soon as they are expired, RFQs will move to RFQ History.
β
All of the posted RFQs can be filtered by ref# and user name.
β
To post your RFQ, just click Request Quote on the right and fill out the posting form. There are several required fields:
PU & Delivery locations - You can add full address or you can keep it short and add zip code only. Please remember to add the state if you go with the second option.
PU & Delivery times - Always in local time zone.
Cargo info - Quantity and Weight of freight.
The rest is optional and can be added if you want to provide more details to carriers and drivers.
β
Before the final confirmation & posting we suggest that you filter only the options you want to see. These are optional fields. Keep in mind, all of the filters will serve as an additional criteria for the carriers, but it will not limit the carriers from seeing your posting.
The criteria you need to know about:
Post to - you can choose who you want to see your posting: drivers, carriers or both.
Posting Mode - You can award your option manually or let ivia award the shipment automatically on a first-to-accept basis for the price you have preset.
Carrier Groups - Post your RFQs to separate groups of carriers if you don't want each ivia vendor to see your quotes.
Vehicle type - Show carriers and drivers what truck type you are looking for.
Minimum dims & Payload - Restricts fleet drivers only. Trucks with payload or dims less than required will not see your postings. If you want to see all of your fleet options, keep it blank. This does not limit carriers at any point.
Miles out - Drivers in the radius you choose will see the posted RFQ. It's set to 150 miles by default.
Target price - Restricts fleet drivers only. If you set target price, your drivers won't be able to place a bid more than your target. If you want to see all of your fleet options, keep it blank. This does not limit carriers at any point.
π§ Keep in mind, if you want your drivers to see posted loads, you should add them to your fleet first.
'Book now' Price - Available only when posting to alliance. If you set price there, any carrier can accept the load for the price you set. Carriers will still be able to bid on this posting with their quotes, if they can not go with your price. If you just want to see possible options from carriers, keep it blank.
Set the RFQ expiration time you need! Available range of time is from 10 minutes to 23:59 hours! Times for fleet and carriers can be set separately.
If you post your RFQ to fleet drivers, you can click Get Capacity and remove the checkmarks from the units that you don't want to see the quote.
If you need all of your drivers see the posted RFQ, click Post right away.
β
All of the posted RFQs can be found on Load Board - Request For Quote. Click View to see available options from ivia carriers and fleet drivers.
Both alliance and fleet options will be available on one tab, but you can always filter the options if there is a need.
β
As soon as you click Award on the option you liked, this posted RFQ will automatically turn into an active shipment and move to Active Shipments tab. Carrier will also receive an automatically generated RC from your company. Driver will receive a notification about the award they just got, with the load details you have saved.
β
Trying to post existing shipment on ivia?
Let's say, you have already built the load on ivia. In this case, just open your Shipments > Uncovered Shipments tab. From there it is as simple as clicking the 3 dots on the right > Request Quote. The ivia system will create an RFQ for you which can be found on the Load Board tab. You can post as many RFQs as you need based on one shipment.
β
All available options from carriers and drivers will be displayed on the Load Board tab. When you award an RFQ to carrier or driver, this option will be automatically assigned to the uncovered shipment you have on ivia. Posted RFQ will move to History.
β
β
π§ If you need to repost an expired RFQ again, you don't need to build it from the very beginning. Just find it on RFQ History sub-tab and open load details to repost. Previous options will be shown too.
