Complete shipments manually in ivia

Learn how to complete shipments manually in ivia, so that your customers can receive updates on their end

If your drivers do not use ivia properly, you have to update the system manually, so that the customer who assigned you on a load can access status&location updates, BOL's and POD's on their end as well.

Here's a brief instruction for you how to do it.

( ❗ Please note you can do it from the website on your PC/laptop only❗)

  1. When you are assigned on a shipment in ivia, you can find it under Shipments - Uncovered Shipments menu

2. From this menu you assign a driver by the phone number to a shipment -

(if you already assigned the driver this load should be under Shipments - Active Shipments menu)

3. Then, please go to Shipments - Active shipments menu, open this shipment's details (an eyeball in the right) and use "forward" arrow to complete the shipment

🧠 You will have use "forward" arrow 4 times, upload all the documents, so that shipment can be completed.

❗During this manual update the system may show you a warning note if:

  • There is more than 10% difference in scheduled and actual weight information

  • There are more or less pieces than was scheduled

  • Delivery address on BOL does not match to the original one

You'll have to click Release Unit button before continuing updating the statuses.
